this week's mailbox...

(a little late, i've already read some of the books!)

this post is based on The Story Siren's weekly mailbox post.

okay, so here's what i've got:

Wings by Aprilynne Pike, Dengeki Daisy by Kyousuke Motomi, The Lucky One by Nicholas Sparks, The Forest of Hands and Teeth and The Dead-Tossed Waves by Carrie Ryan

looking forward to reading/have enjoyed reading them all!

what's in your mailbox??

  1. I'm reading the Harry Potter series, so I have books 5-7 waiting in the wings. I also have a pile on my TV stand. I'm curious about "Heat" by Bill Buford and "the sight" by Judy Blundell and "Eternal" by Cynthia Leitich Smih so I'll probably read those next. And the 3rd Hunger Games book is coming out soon so I have to read "Catching Fire" by Suzanne Collins.

  2. I've read the Sparks book, it was good. Nicholas Sparks is reliable and I like that.

I was on a book buying binge this The Luxe series by Anna Godbersen, Sizzling Sixteen by Janet Evanovich, and The Girl Who Played with Fire by Steig Larsson!

  3. Theresa--i love the HP books. they never grow old. and i'm really looking forward to Catching Fire, too! i haven't even heard of the other books, so maybe i should check them out :)

Kelli--i've never read any of Sparks' books before--i'm glad to know you liked it! And WOW that's a lot of books! I hope you enjoy reading them (i've read the Luxe aeries and i like it for the most part)

i hope both of you have a great weekend!!

  4. Great week! I enjoyed Forest of H&T and can't wait to get my hands on DTW. You have some sweet reading in your future :D Here is what I got.

  5. You have such a pretty blog! You're in for a treat, Carrie Ryan is a great writer!
    Happy Reading!

  6. Thanks, brandi and Alyssa! i already read The Forest of Hands and Teeth, and, wow. Carrie Ryan is an amazing writer.
I hope you both have a wonderful weekend!

  7. What is Dengeki Daisy supposed to be about? Thanks for also recommending Ouran High School Host Club. I'll have to check them both out.

  8. Hey, Alison!

Dengeki Daisy is about a girl (Teru) whose brother died, leaving her all alone (She's also an orphan). Before he died, he gave her a cell phone with the number of a person called "Daisy". Teru confides in Daisy and relies on him to help her, even though she doesn't know who he is. It's really funny (not quite as funny as Ouran, though! I don't think any manga is...). I'd definitely recommend it!

Thanks for stopping by!! I hope you enjoy the manga :)

  9. LOTS--LOL! Currently: Deception, The sky is Everywhere and 13 Reasons Why...

  10. Wow what an adorable blog! I love your blog title! I found you over at the wonderful Erica (Chapter by Chapter) blog and just had to visit!

Your mailbox was filled with awesomeness! I'm currently reading Shiver, but just finished Firelight and fell in love!

  11. Oh my gosh I can't wait to see what you thought of all the books! I just knocked most of those off my tbr list within the past month. We must be on the same wavelength or something ;)

  12. Christina--The Sky Is Everywhere will be in my mailbox soon, too! great choice--it sounds like it's going to be amazing! enjoy all your books :)
